Minibuses

These are the most common safari Vehicles in Kenya for the average priced safari and are also used by some budget trips. They have pop-up viewing hatches. The buses are seven or six if a guaranteed window seat is needed. Opt for the later, as it seems a pity to go all the way on Safari and then not be able to see the animals clearly. They are driven by African driver/Guide and sometimes accompanied by a tour guide, in cases where a translator is required. Vehicles carry guide books and binocilars, but it's better to bring your own.

Land Rover and Land Cruiser

At the moment we have one exclusive land Rover and is usually used by the more expensive safari, and being 4WD it can traverse difficult terrain. Associated with the authentic safari kudos, its more comfotable and spacious than the minibuses, furthermore it has been modified for comfort on Safari, with heightened roofs giving greater visibility from the windows, and better suspensions. Guide books and binocilars are usualy provided together with cool boxes for cold drinks on game drives.
