See and hear the "Roaring Rocks" named after the roaring sound produced after wind blows into the darkness of the continuously falling rocks hundreds of meters below.
Animal distribution: Countless bird nests accompanied by a bird orchestra hang from branches along the Tsavo River. Crocodiles, hippos and underwater life are found around the Mzima Springs in abundance. Near the Roaring Rocks is a rhino sanctuary. Giraffes, Zebras, Ostriches, the African wild cat, impala, buffalo, stripped hyena, and bat-eared fox are just few of the many characterizing the landscape of Tsavo.
Accommodation: Kilaguni Lodge, from whose terrace Zebras, Antelopes, Gazelles and elephants can be seen. Here is also the centre of information, where drivers meet and change information about the whereabouts of leopards or lions, or any other group of animals for that matter. From its terrace enjoy the unbelievable play of colours at sunset at the background of Kilimanjaro peak! And all the while still having a splendid view of the water spot which will soon be moonlit.
